Memorial gifts and pledges of $1,000 or more are acknowledged on the Memorial Board. Payment terms can be arranged over two or three years. Memorial and funeral contributions can be made specifically to the Development Fund. For more information call the Rectory Office at 203-729-4543.

Ladies' Retreat
The promoter for the women's retreat acts as a liaison between St. Francis Church and our Lady of Calvary Retreat House. It is the responsibility of the promoter to encourage women of the parish to make a retreat each year by speaking with ladies one-on-one, speaking from the altar, and organizing gatherings of women who have not been on retreat, together with women who have previously attended a retreat, to talk about their retreat experience.

Men's Retreat
The chairman actively promotes the men's retreat by attending meetings at the Retreat House in preparation for the event, obtains literature pertaining to the annual retreat to post on the church bulletin boards, works with Father on bulletin announcements, and addresses the congregation from the Pulpit three to four weeks before the start of the retreat. As a retreat member, talk to friends and family about the retreat and encourage them to join you on your retreat.

This is a worldwide Catholic Lay Organization whose aims are to increase personal holiness, foster a deeper devotion to Mary among all people, and to perform spiritual and apostolic works. Members of the Legion volunteer two service hours per week and attend weekly meetings. Legion of Mary meets Monday at 12 PM.
