The Parish Council of St. Francis of Assisi is a shared effort of clergy and the laity in the ministry for the parish community. Guided by the presence of the Holy Spirit, the council provides advice to the pastor and serves as a catalyst for the continuous growth of parish life. The Council assists the pastor as an instrument for sharing the mission of Jesus Christ by proclaiming His Gospel, celebrating His liturgy, building His community, serving His people, identifying the needs and concerns of the parish, and empowering all parishioners to utilize their gifts and talents toward the growth and development of the parish. The St. Francis Parish Council exists as an example of unity and cooperation as a Christian community to the parish and the Catholic Church.
